2022 Silverfox Syrah

Here's the latest Silverfox wine, a Syrah heavy (90%) with a touch of Merlot (10%) used to tame the common characteristics of Syrah (spice) and to enhance the fruit.  All spice is the spice that hits you first, followed by light cherry, and a wonderful (and less common) Tayberry.  This Syrah is everything we love in a Washington Syrah! Delicate floral aromas, dark berries, and a hint of smokiness on the nose. To round out the finish (as it opens) get ready for a bold and luscious mouth feel of juicy blackberries and savory hints of olive, mocha, and pepper. This Syrah is damn sexy and will certainly age well if given the time.
