2021 Queen of Hearts

This 100% Petit Verdot is not for the faint of heart!  Deep purple in color with aromas of violet, sage and cocoa.  The mouth feel is full and velvety with bold tannins and plenty of fruit to balance.  Hints of black cherry, olive and white pepper come to mind, followed by blackberry and mocha on the finish.  As the wine opens, a little more earthiness is revealed as well as faint traces of cigar smoke.  100% Petit Verdot's are rare to find, and you will certainly not be disapointed with your selection here.  This wine is ready now..... so enjoy!
