2020 Grand Rouge

After being absent for a year, the Grand Rouge has returned. It's probably one of our most requested wines, so it's good to have it return for the 2020 vintage. As always, it's a 50 - 50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the Red Mountain AVA. Blends of these two grapes have formed the foundation of so many great wines of the world. Layers of red currant, black cherry and peppery herbs on the palate will make it hard to stop filling your glass. Add bold tannins, chocolate caramel and juicy plum and it will be near impossible to put the bottle down. I know it will be difficult, but if you have the willpower, save some for day two as the wine will completely change and become soft and creamy overnight !
