2016 Petit Verdot

This Queen is not for the faint of heart and will intrigue your senses! Rarely done as a single varietal, this Petit Verdot delivers layers of dark fruit, espresso, vanilla, anise and clove. She stands out with aromas of lilac, violets and sage. The mouthfeel is bold and tannic with notes of blackberry, blueberry, and plum. A little extra time in barrel has tamed her natural intensity, but she's held on to her broad and curvy structure. This wine will compliment rich meat dishes like short ribs or lamb, grilled mushrooms, or spicy mole enchiladas.
